The Henin Group is advancing two residential developments totaling nearly 70 acres in Tavares, Florida.
Henin Village, a 32-acre project off David Walker Drive, will feature 115 homesites ranging from 50-by-120 feet, with 10 lots fronting Lake Elsie. Development is slated to begin in November. The company plans to offer three- and four-bedroom floor plans between 1,800 and 2,200 square feet through Henin and another builder. CEO Jerome Henin noted, “We’re currently in negotiations with some national homebuilders,” with pricing expected to start in the mid-$200,000s.
The second community comprises 36 acres on Slim Haywood Avenue near State Road 19 and County Road 561. This subdivision will include approximately 145 single-family lots and is adjacent to a Publix-anchored shopping center. Civil Design Solutions has been hired for design services. Henin indicated the project name may reference orange varieties growing on the site, with permitting and closing anticipated before year-end 2021.
Both communities will offer convenient access to the 429 Expressway, US 441, and SR 46, providing residents a 30-40 minute commute to Orlando.
